本 港 大 學 生 被 指 每 況 愈 下 ， 時 間 觀 念 薄 弱 是 其 中 一 項 。 蔣 震 工 業 慈 善 基 金 會 主 席 蔣 震 ， 昨 晚 宴 請 數 名 「 海 外 交 流 獎 學 金 」 得 主 ， 但 六 人 中 有 兩 人 分 別 遲 到 三 十 及 十 五 分 鐘 ， 令 蔣 震 非 常 不 滿 ， 即 場 向 幾 位 同 學 訓 話 近 十 五 分 鐘 。蔣 震 昨 晚 宴 請 六 名 獎 學 金 得 主 ， 希 望 跟 他 們 分 享 他 一 生 的 成 就 及 經 驗 ， 從 而 鼓 勵 他 們 努 力 學 業 。 晚 宴 於 七 時 開 始 ， 其 中 四 名 學 生 準 時 到 達 。 十 分 鐘 過 後 ， 蔣 震 開 始 頻 頻 看 手 表 ， 並 追 問 蔣 震 工 業 慈 善 基 金 會 秘 書 長 劉 炯 朗 「 同 學 因 何 還 未 到 」 。五 分 鐘 後 ， 中 文 大 學 林 雨 寶 同 學 趕 到 ， 忙 向 老 人 家 賠 不 是 ， 但 也 不 能 避 免 被 教 訓 了五 分 鐘 。還 有 一 名 香 港 大 學 學 生 陳 嘉 俊 仍 未 到 達 ， 蔣 震 更 不 耐 煩 ， 基 金 會 項 目 主 任 王 小 蓓 企 圖 替 還 未 來 的 同 學 解 圍 ， 說 同 學 由 北 角 過 來 ， 豈 料 老 人 家 不 接 受 解 釋 ， 表 示 「 就 算 從 台 灣 來 也 不 能 遲 到 」 。
兩 名 遲 到 的 同 學 分 別 被 蔣 震 訓 示 了 十 五 分 鐘 ， 他 向 同 學 表 示 守 時 很 重 要 ， 特 首 都 不 能 遲 到 ， 因 遲 到 會 「 令 全 世 界 的 人 都 在 等 你 」 ， 誤 別 人 的 時 間 。 訓 話 後 蔣 震 更 不 願 將 原 本 應 親 手 頒 贈 的 紀 念 獎 牌 頒 予 兩 名 遲 到 同 學， 只 吩 咐 劉 炯 朗 「 交 給 他 們 便 行 了 」 。 兩 同 學 均 表 示 內 疚 ， 並 承 諾 以 後 也 不 會 再 遲 到 。

10000 lightings in a night
昨晚閃電近一萬次 from www.mpinews.com 21/07/2005 12:30

天文台表示，由昨晚10時至午夜，本港共錄得近一萬次閃電。署理高級科學主任宋文娟表示，相信是由於昨日廣東內陸天氣炎熱，加上西北風將不穩定雲層吹來香港所致。

Where am I?
A speaker is supposed to explain to the attendants details of some operations in a seminar. Turned out she kept on reading out the instructions alread listed clearly in the handbook.

At certain point she wanted to elaborate and "deviate" from straight reading. After murmuring for a while, the speaker says, "Where am I?"

11:40 wake up - Raining Again
Today found Lai Tat Tat Wing has an exhibition of his upcoming comic book in Arts Centre. It's quite nice, showing many of his original hand sketches.

Raining again, and cool like autumn when I got down on street around lunch time. I lost patience to wait for a bus on Bonham Road after finding no minibus have seats to let people get on and it kept on raining. I guess I could never move to any place which I need to wait for a bus for more than 1 minute - unless I have my own car. No, I should correct myself - unless I have 2 cars, so in case one broke down, I still don't have to wait for a bus.
