2046

Watched the movie in Cyberport - just a few hours after the HK premiere in the same location. Of course all the stars and the director had left already, with only Maggie Cheung probably left shooting an ad nearby (several sets of light and crew was found at the landscape area in the residential phase).

I didn't expect the movie would be fast-paced and entertaining. Yet out of my expectation there are only a few scenes about the future part - which was emphasized by the title & subsequent media coverages. You probably have already seen all the CG scenes in the trailer - don't expect any "STAR WARS-style" CG.

The story becomes a bit lengthy after the end of Faye's appearance, my friend told me that the guy sitting next to him had gone to the restroom in the middle of the movie for half hour. So go at your own risk.

Personally Faye's part would be the best, because that's the relatively more humourous section.
